SALARY RANGE: $102,390.00 - $140,336.00

ELIGIBILITY: This examination is open to anyone who meets the minimum qualifications.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• Seven (7) years of increasingly responsible experience providing multi-faceted direction and planning in financial
operations and administration.
• Five (5) years of experience having demonstrated flexibility and creativity in providing financial operations
support and expertise in a fiscally-challenged public sector environment.
• Knowledge of economic and accounting principles and practices, the financial markets, banking and the analysis
and reporting of financial data.
• Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation,
leadership technique and coordination of people and resources.
• Knowledge of government finance, budgeting and auditing, database and accounting computer applications
systems.
• Proficient using MS Office Suite and relevant software and systems.
DESCRIPTION OF WORK:
Under the direction of the Chief Financial Officer, the Deputy Chief Financial Officer assists in planning, directing,
overseeing, and coordinating the financial activities and systems of the Court at the highest level of management.
This role leads and supports the fiduciary services, budget, financial and fiscal accounting, grants and special
projects associated with the Budget & Finance Department, to ensure effective service delivery, resource utilization
and results. Employees in this title are expected to maintain a professional appearance and demeanor.
