*Includes only the Monday President's Reception and Tuesday Banquet, but does not include drink tickets or any other meals.
If you are bringing a guest to the hotel but the guest will not attend these two events, there is no need to register the guest.
Note: Hard-copy registrations will incur a $5 service fee.

Refund Policy: Notice of cancellations must be received by September 19, 2021. No refunds will be made after that date.

A limited block of hotel rooms will be held at the Mission Point Resort through September 8, 2021.

*The above room rate does not include 6% sales tax, 3% local assessment, 10% resort levy. A one- time charge of $6.00 per person will apply for luggage transfer from the mainland to the resort and back. Children 17 years of age and younger stay for free. Children 12 and under eat for free. $25.00 additional per guest for triple and quad occupancy.

RESERVATION INSTRUCTIONS:

  • The group block closed on September 8, and there are very few rooms left at the resort.
    • You can attempt to make a reservation by calling (800) 833-7711 or Chyerl at (231) 715-4910. You can also email your request to info@missionpoint.com. Hours of operation are Mon-Sat 9a-5p.
    • Mention MGFOA when booking. There is no guarantee you will get the group rate, if rooms are available. 
  • An advanced deposit of one night's room, tax, and luggage fee is required to confirm your reservation. Mission Point Resort accepts Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. Credit card will be charged for the deposit at the time of booking.
  • If paying by check, reservation will be held for 10 days pending receipt of the check.
  • Reservations must be canceled at least 14 days prior to arrival to receive full refund.
  • If you cannot get a room at Mission Point, please look for another hotel on the island.

Ferry and Parking Information:

  • Shepler's Mackinac Island Ferry is the preferred ferry service of MGFOA and Mission Point Resort
  • You can purchase discounted tickets in registration, saving you $6 per ticket
  • In registration, you can indicate if you plan to pick up the ferry in Mackinaw City or St. Ignace
  • Please check the ferry schedule online and allow for enough time to pick up your ticket from the ticket booth and park your car
  • Group tickets will be available at the Shepler's ticket booths starting on Friday, October 1. If you are coming in earlier that that, please arrange your own tickets
  • Ferry tickets have two stubs. Be sure to save the return stub, or you will need to purchase a one-way return ticket.
  • Parking:
    • Mackinaw City: All options are self-parking.
      • Day Parking: FREE (off-site)
      • Standard Overnight Parking: $10.00/night (off-site)
      • Premium Overnight Parking: $30.00/night on-site at the dock (gated entry/exit)
      • Shepler's provides continuous shuttle service to and from the off-site lots
    • St. Ignace: All options are self-parking.
      • Day Parking: FREE
      • Standard Overnight Parking: $10.00/night on-site at the dock (gated entry/exit)
    • Please note that Premium Parking in Mackinaw City is based on first-come, first-served availability so Shepler's is unable to take reservations to reserve spots. However, all of the parking in St. Ignace is guaranteed on-site, should that be more appealing for you.
